The idea of the FBV started in the late parts of 2021 and became a reality in 2022. We are a small business with a team of three who work together to handcraft unique candles for you. As avid readers, we wanted to bring our favourite book characters to life by creating candles based on what we think they smell like. We have obtained offical licenses to create products from Sarah J. Mass, Micalea Smeltzer and Rina Kent. We also have permission from Danielle Lori to create candles for her Made Men series. We still want to obtain more official licenses from our favourite authors! We have character-inspired candles from authors like Mariana Zapata, Penelope Douglas, H.D. Carlton and Taherah Mafi but we're constantly working to add to our collection. We really hope that when you receive your candles, you love them just as much as we loved creating them!

We ship worldwide. Each order is packed with love, so please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be processed, packed, and shipped. Since we pour small batches of candles, it is possible that we might not have the candles you order ready to ship so please bear with us as we work quickly to have your candles made and processed within 2 weeks. We use PayPal as our payment option which allows you to make a payment from most major credit card companies. Note that all prices on our site are listed in USD. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us, and we’ll discuss the return options since we are a small business.We have a 7-day return policy in which you have 7 days to request a refund and return on your order. To be eligible for this, the item(s) in your order must be in the same condition in which you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You will need to provide a proof of purchase with your request. To start the process, you can contact us at fragrances.by.vernita.22@gmail.com. If the return request is approved, your refund will be issued and you can send the item back. Shipping will need to be covered by you as we don't have a return shipping label system. If your reason for refund request is damage to the items in your order, you would have had to inspect your order upon collection and have contacted us immediately if there was an issue for the request to be approved
